VERONICA LENZ, STYLE APPRENTICE

Lizzy has been involved in some facet of the apparel industry for over 17 years. She earned her BS in Retail and Consumer Science from the University of Arizona, and an AA in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. She worked as a designer in LA for six years, most notably for Guess?, Inc. While designing, she became intimately experienced in the apparel production process- most importantly learning how different fabrics drape on the body and how quality construction is crucial to the fit of a good piece of clothing. In 2012 she left LA and Guess? for Chicago, and started exploring Personal Styling as a career. Lizzy moved back to California in 2014, where she began working as a Personal Shopper at Nordstrom. This role allowed her to really hone her skills of identifying flattering pieces for everybody, and every body, while still allowing her to make meaningful connections with women and them improve their lives through style. After the birth of her daughter Alexandra in 2016, Lizzy wanted to transition into a role which would allow her more meaningful time with her family (something the Retail Industry does not!), and found a perfect fit with Watson Style Group. With WSG, Lizzy gets to do what she loves most: help women discover their personal style and use it to become their best and bravest selves. What’s more, she fulfills this desire while working for a company that preaches and practices  work-life balance, prioritizes self-care, and promotes a positive, collaborative work environment.
